This module will assist the learner to understand some of the complex factors involved in domestic and family violence situations. It will deliver information about the different perspectives between couples, the cycle of violence that occurs and its impact on children. The module will also provide direction to the most appropriate support services.

The aim of this module is to provide an introduction to the historical and legal contexts of family violence including relationship dynamics, impacts on victims and service responses.
