MODULE Information
Everyone
who works or volunteers in Parish Ministries within the Diocese of Parramatta
is required to complete Mandatory Safeguarding Training every two years. This
ensures that you are supported in your role as Mandatory Reporters in church
ministry. Module 4 is the first Module of your renewal training. It builds on
your understanding of the Child Safe Standards and shows how these can inform
how you build a safe parish community.

About
This is the first of two renewal modules for Cycle 2 of the Diocese of Parramatta Safeguarding Training. You are required to complete Cycle 2 two years after you have completed Cycle 1 (Mods 1-3).
It is designed to show you how the 10 Child Safe Standards can be applied and demonstrated within your Parish’s Policies, Procedures, Liturgies and Events. The Module also reviews how we practise our ministry to ensure we also safeguard adults who may be at risk in our parish community.
